I've always been a big believer that you should look like the best version of yourself on your wedding day, not someone completely different or overly made up. Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is clearly of the same thinking, wowing the world on her wedding day by keeping her makeup completely natural and minimal, and applied in a way that allowed her best features to shine.

Celebrity makeup artist Laura Vazquez says, "I thought Meghan looked classic, sophisticated and effortlessly beautiful. A flawless version of herself."

Here Laura outlines exactly how to get Meghan's au natural makeup look and the products to use to perfect it.

BASE: Add a wash of foundation to your skin letting freckles and beauty spots to shine through.
USE: Becca ever Matte shine proof foundation and Laura mercier smooth finish foundation powder.

EYES: On eyes opt for a smokey bronze shadow, eyeliner and mascara - this brought out Meghan's strikingly beautiful brown eyes.
USE: Zoeva cocoa blend eyeshadow palette and Marc Jacobs Highliner gel eye crayon eyeliner in the colour cocoa. Finish with Studio 10  6-1 mascara

BROWS: Tame and shape natural brows.
USE: Estée Lauder Brow Now All In One Brow kit.

CHEEKS: Add a light dusting of peachy blush
USE: Natasha Denona blush duo palette.

LIPS: Apply a pink-toned lipstick to give the whole look a subtle but natural look.
USE: Melli Cosmetics Cupcake Luxe Lipstick

HAIR: Part down the middle at the front and pull back in an updo bun
