Where To Find Sydney's Best New York Style Cheesecake

by Where Do I Eat Pete

Sydney Insta Foodie Where Do I Eat Pete spills the beans on where to find the best slice of cheesecake in Sydney

For a place that is renowned for its handmade organic chocolate, Lixie Chocolaterie also create some incredible baked goods - and none better than this old fashioned, New York style cheesecake.

Made using a two day process that involves the mixture being whipped until it's extra light and then slow baked to perfection, a slice of this pie just as it is will be some of the of the best you're sure to taste this side of New York! But if you're like me, and can't resist taking your cheesecake with a side of chocolate, I recommend you use that loose change in your pocket to purchase a mini pot of melted dark or milk chocolate and drizzle all over the cheesecake to make this the ultimate decadent dessert.

Located in leafy Surry Hills, Lixie Chocolaterie is well worth a visit - ideal for a sweet treat post lunch or breakfast at one of the many great cafes in the area. I particularly recommend Kawa for a great brunch, lunch and coffee.
