Paolo Sebastian's New Collection Is Just WOW

The new Gilded Wings collection by Paolo Sebastian will take your aisle style to the next level

Long-time fans of Paolo Sebastian (designed by the incredibly talented and humble twenty-six year old Adelaide designer Paul Vasileff) we are thrilled to be able to share all the pics from the Paolo Sebastian 2017 Autumn / Winter: Gilded Wings collection. 

Inspired by the fragile wings of a woodland faery who falls in love with a young man lost in the woods, this latest collection pays homage to the delicate nature of a dragonfly's wing. Fashioned from tones of rose gold, lavender and storm grey, the 14-piece collection features intricate hand-embroidery, French tulle and iridescent beading. 

And while it's hard to play favourites, we can't help but point out the standout pieces; a winged petal skirt gown, a beaded rose gold gown with cape and an embroidered lavender wing sleeve gown. 

Like past collections, his signature fishtail and ball gown silhouettes are back, this time paired with sheer paneling and elaborate gossamer and wing-inspired beadwork, all of which celebrate the attention to detail the label is known for. 

Already a hit on the red carpet both in Australia and overseas, (his designs have been worn by the likes of Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Dannii Minogue, Indian actress Sonam Kapoor and Australian television identities Megan Gale and Carrie Bickmore) it's clear to see why Paolo Sebastian has struck a chord with not only celebrities but also stylish bride-to-be's worldwide.
