Our advice is to let your tastebuds travel around the world and try as many of the different restaurants as possible.
Staff are very knowledgeable on the dishes and are only too happy to help out with recommendations, so our tip is to take their advice! While it’s actually hard for us to play favourites some of the standout dishes include truffle pizza at BabaQ, the Crispy & Wok Fried Scallop With Pine Nut and Phuket Lobster done with a Salted Egg Sauce at Baba Chino and Gaeng Poo (Andaman crab meat in yellow curry) from Baba Soul Food. For the ultimate cocktail hour experience make a reservation at the resort’s rooftop bar, Baba Nest. A rooftop deck surrounded by a wrap around infinity pool and overlooking 360° panoramic views of the surrounding islands, Andaman Sea and Phuket’s Southeastern peninsula this is truly a magical experience.
Get Moving
Needless to say you might want to balance out all the indulgence with a little bit of movement. Forgoing the tuk-tuk chauffeur service and getting around the expansive resort on foot is a good start, but if you really want to get the heart rate up, book in for a private kickboxing lesson with trained Muay Thai fighters. Be prepared to be put through your paces as the professionals lead you through punching and kicking sequences. For something a little gentler book in for a private Yoga or Pilates lesson. The best time is sunrise so you take in the spectacular view from Baba Nest as you downward dog.
