A wardrobe must-have, a cape instantly elevates your look to fashion queen status. Chic black to cool prints, here's 10 buys under $100...

So I'm going to keep this short and sweet, and give you three good reasons why I love a great cape:

1. Dressed up or dressed down, they instantly elevate your outfit. You could be wearing your oldest fave white t-shirt and a pair jeans, but throw on a cape and you immediately look stylish and put together.

2. They're less restrictive than a blazer when layering with knits and shirts - no bunching sleeves that drive you mad all day!

3. They're the perfect attire to run after small children, are breastfeeding-friendly - oh and most importantly leave your arms free to drink wine easily!
