Expect the unexpected would have to be this season's fashion motto. Romantic cocktail dresses and glamorous gowns are no longer just reserved for special occasions. Instead it's all about taking them to street level by teaming them with edgy footwear, topped off with ornate jewels and a flourish of texture by way of a shaggy coat or scarf. In this fashion shoot the team took to the bush, the perfect backdrop to show you how to do romantic with a gritty twist, teaming pretty florals with chunky knits and leather jackets, and delicate pleat sleeves with ornate jewellery and a tough combat boot. Makeup and hair was was kept intentionally minimal just as the Romantic Rebel would do.
