This At-Home Facial Is A Must-Try

After almost 6 weeks of being sick, first with the flu, then with a nasty bladder infection that hospitalised me for two nights and revealed I severe anaemia, my skin looked sallow, dull and in dire need of a pick-me-up.
I recently met the lovely Lynette Carroll Bolton (you many have seen her on TV, she's a regular on Channel Seven's Sunrise, Sydney Weekender and the Daily Edition, or heard her on 2UE or 2GB ) through work and she mentioned she is also a consultant for the hugely popular US skincare brand Rodan & Fields which is launching in Australia this May. She offered to send me a mini facial sample, and being on the never-ending quest for beautiful skin, I eagerly took her up on the offer! A brand that has 700K repeat customers in the States, I was very curious to understand the hype.
The sample arrived in the post and because of the aforementioned health rollercoaster, sat in my bathroom unused until this week. Finally I took the 5 minutes to treat myself to the Rodan + Fields mini facial which consists of Enhancements Micro-Dermabrasion Paste followed by Redefine Night Renewing Serum and Redefine Lip Renewing Serum. Straight after the facial my skin felt seriously good - softer, brighter and plumper. Not only that, the next morning the results spoke for themselves too. Pre-existing blemishes and dark spots were visibly diminished and my makeup went on a treat. I would describe myself as having sensitive skin, but the products did not upset it in the slightest!
